Daniel Martens (born February 25, 1999 in Singapore ), with full name Martens Daniel Jordan Rowsing , is a Singaporean football player .

Career

Daniel Martens learned to play football in the youth teams of Tanjong Pagar United and Warriors FC , the National Football Academy and the youth team of Hougang United . He signed his first contract with Albirex Niigata (Singapore) in 2019 . The club is an offshoot of the Japanese second division club Albirex Niigata and plays in the top Singaporean football league, the Singapore Premier League . He made his first division debut on March 15, 2019 against Brunei DPMM FC . Here he was substituted on for Makito Hatanaka in the 64th minute . For Niigata he completed 13 first division games. In early 2020, league rival Hougang United signed him.
