Daniel José Pereira Mestre (born April 1, 1986 in Switzerland ) is a Portuguese road cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2007 Daniel Mestre won a stage of the Volta ao Portugal do Futuro . From 2009 he drove for the Portuguese Continental Team Palmeiras Resort-Tavira . In his first year there he was fifth at the Circuito de Nafarros and twice stage runner-up at the Grande Prémio Credito Agricola . In the 2010 season Mestre won a stage in the Tour of Bulgaria and was fourth in another day.

In the following years, Mestre won several stages of the tour, such as the Morocco tour in 2014 and two stages of the Portugal tour in 2016 . In 2017 he won the sprint classification of the Vuelta a Castilla y León as well as a stage of the Grande Prémio Internacional de Torres Vedras . In 2018 he won the one-day race Classica Aldeias do Xisto .
