Efapel is a Portuguese cycling team based in Lourosa . Namesake and sponsor is the Efapel - Empresa Fabril de Produtos Eléctricos SA , a manufacturer of electrical installation materials .

The team was founded in 2000 under the name Barbot-Torrie. In 2004 Gaia became co-sponsor, a year later Pascoal, 2006 Halcon, 2008 Siper and since 2011 Efapel is the second namesake. The team has had a license as a Continental Team since 2005 , with which it mainly takes part in races on the UCI Europe Tour . The manager is Carlos Pereira, who is supported by the sporting director Paulo Pais. Former sponsor Barbot is a company that makes printing inks. The team will be equipped with Cipollini bikes.
