Carlos Iván Oyarzun Guiñez (born October 26, 1981 in San Bernardo ) is a Chilean racing cyclist .

Career

Carlos Oyarzun finished second overall at the 2006 Volta a Coruna . The next year he made it to third place overall, as well as in the Volta a Galicia and the Vuelta a Salamanca . He also won the one-day race Prueba Santa Cruz . In 2008 he drove for the Mexican Continental Team Tecos de la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara . In his first year there he was successful on the first part of the Tour of Belize and was able to win the overall standings.

At the 2015 Pan American Games , he tested positive for doping and was suspended.
