Martin Gilbert (born October 30, 1982 in Châteauguay ) is a former Canadian cyclist .
Career
Martin Gilbert was Canadian U23 road racing champion in 2003 and third in the time trial . In 2005 he won a stage at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Beauce . At the 2007 Pan American Championship, Gilbert won the road race in the Canadian national team. Gilbert represented his country at the 2008 Olympics and finished twelfth at Madison with Zach Bell . By the end of his career in 2012, he won three stages of the Vuelta a Cuba , one stage of the Tour of Missouri and two stages of the Vuelta Ciclista del Uruguay .
