Rodolfo Vitela

Rodolfo Vitela (* 10. March 1949 in Zacapu , State of Michoacan , Mexico ) is a former Mexican cyclist .

In 1973 Vitela won the Vuelta y Ruta de Mexico . In 1974 he was the winner of the Vuelta a Costa Rica and second of the Vuelta a Cuba . In 1975 Rodolfo represented his native Mexico at the Pan American Games and won the gold medal in the team time trial . In 1976 he also started for Mexico at the Olympic Games . In 1978 he became the Pan American road champion.
