Luis Rosendo Ramos Maldonado

Luis Rosendo Ramos Maldonado (born October 6, 1957 ) is a retired Mexican cyclist .

Athletic career

In 1976 he won the road race at the Pan American Championships in Venezuela and the team pursuit on the track . In 1978 he won gold again at the Games, this time in the team time trial (with Bernardo Colex, among others ). In 1983 at the Games in Caracas he won the road race in front of Carlos Maria Caramillo and in 1987 in the USA he won the gold medal again in the road race in front of Marcos Mazzaron from Brazil . In 1977 he finished second on the Tour of Mexico . He won several stages in country tours in Central and South America. Luis Rosendo Ramos Maldonado took part in the Summer Olympics three times . In 1976 in Montreal , he retired from road races. 1984 in Los Angeles he finished the Olympic individual race in 17th place, in 1988 in Seoul he was classified as 77th and was 22nd in the team time trial.

Professional

He graduated as an agricultural engineer .
