John Fredy Parra Celada (born November 9, 1974 in Bogotá ) is a former Colombian cyclist .

Career

John Fredy Parra was Colombian runner-up in road racing in 2002, and he won a stage at the Clásico RCN . In the following year he was successful three times at the Vuelta a la Independencia Nacional, won a stage at the Vuelta a Colombia , two stages and the overall ranking at the Clàsica Gobernacion de Casanare and a section each at the Vuelta a Guatemala and at the Clásico RCN.

In 2004 Parra and José Serpa became the Pan American champions in two-man team driving on the track ; In 2005 he finished third in the points race and won the road race . He also won another section of the Vuelta a la Independencia Nacional. In his first year there, he won a stage of the Tour de Beauce and the Clásico Ciclístico Banfoandes . In 2007 he was successful at the Vuelta a San Luis Potosi and the Vuelta a Colombia on daily sections. He was also national runner-up in road racing. By 2013 he won a total of 13 stages in tours, mainly in South America.
