Daniel Mijic
Daniel Mijic (* 1969 in Ravensburg ) is a German artist.
Life
Mijic completed an apprenticeship in stonemason in Herrenberg from 1990 to 1993 and studied sculpture in Stuttgart from 1997 to 2004 with Dorothea Schulz, Werner Pokorny and Micha Ullman . Then he became a teacher for screen printing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. In 1999 he founded the Filderbahnfreundemöhringen FFM group with Michelin Kober , Anna-Lisa Cardinale , Konrad Sedlar and Daniel Sigloch , which has had the guest room showroom since 2000 .
Mijic focuses on encounters and interactions between humans and animals or animals and animals, which he z. B. presented in video installations. He lives and works in Stuttgart. In 2006 he received a scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation.
