Daniel Nageler (born September 1, 1986 in Sankt Veit an der Glan ) is an Austrian ice hockey striker who has been under contract with EK Zell am See in the Alps Hockey League since July 2018 .

Career

Daniel Nageler grew up on his parents' farm in Feldkirchen . He now lives in Villach with his wife and daughter.

Nageler comes from the offspring of the ESC Steindorf and then came into the youth of the EC VSV , where he was able to establish himself in the U20 team and also got some assignments in the VSV combat team. For the 2006/07 season he moved to the Austrian National League at EK Zell am See where he proved to be one of the pillars of the team. After 3 years in Zell am See, Nageler moved to the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga for the Vienna Capitals . From the 2013/14 season to 2017, Nageler played again for his youth club, the EC VSV. Then he moved to the MOL League to Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák , in which he was able to record 21 points in 32 games. In July 2018 he returned to EK Zell am See.
