Daniel Rubisoier (born August 30, 1982 ) is an Austrian mountain bike rider .

Career

Daniel Rubisoier was elite Tyrolean marathon champion in Mieders in 2003 . In 2004 he won the Austrian championship title in the mountain bike marathon in the U23 class. Two years later, in 2006, he was again elite Tyrolean marathon champion. In 2008 he qualified for the Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in Villabassa , Italy and finished the race in 47th place. In 2010 he won the Tyrolean Championship for the third time and qualified for the 2010 Marathon World Championships, where he was unable to start due to an injury. In 2010 he was the best Austrian at the Ötztal Cycling Marathon . In 2011 he was able to secure the title of Tyrolean marathon champion in the elite for the fourth time. In 2012 Daniel won the toughest one-day race in the world (according to the organizer), the Race across the Alps, with a lead of over an hour, making him the first Tyrolean to win this race. Daniel Rubisoier also won the Tyrolean championship title in the Mtb marathon for the third time in a row. In 2013 Daniel won the RATA for the second time in a row. In 2014 Daniel won the RATA for the third time in a row. At the 2015 Ötztal Cycle Marathon, he was the best Austrian with a time of 7:14 hours. In 2016 Daniel won the two classics, the SuperGiroDolomiti and the Dreiländergiro. At the Salzkammergut Trophy 2016, Daniel managed to finish the race on the podium for the second time on route A (211 kilometers and 7110 meters in altitude) with 2nd overall. He was able to finish the Ötztal Cycle Marathon 2016 in a new personal record time of 7:07.
