Daniel Tarone (born October 26, 1975 in Basel ) is a Swiss - Italian football player .

Daniel Tarone began his career in 1993 at FC Zurich . After six years he then moved to FC Aarau for the first time . After just one season he was then transferred to AC Bellinzona . However, he was not happy there and so returned to FC Aarau a year later. A season later he moved again, namely to his home club FC Zurich. He played in Zurich for another three years before trying his luck in Schaffhausen. When FC Schaffhausen relegated to the second division two years later, he moved to FC Aarau. In June 2009 he moved to FC Baden, which he was a member of until the end of the year. Tarone spent his last position as an active footballer at FC Wohlen, where he let his career end.

Under Jeff Saibene and Josef Zinnbauer he was assistant coach at FC St. Gallen . Together with Zinnbauer, Tarone was released in May 2017. Since his contract ran until summer 2018, he was called up again as a fitness trainer for the youngsters in February 2018. In summer 2018 he was engaged for two months by SV Gutenstetten-Steinachgrund in the German district league Middle Franconia North.
