Daniel Thorsen

Daniel Thorsen (born November 26, 1986 in Bendigo ) is an Australian track cyclist.

Daniel Thorsen won the silver medal in the keirin and bronze in the scratch at the 2003 Junior World Championship in Moscow . He was also the Australian Junior Scratch Champion in 2003. The next year, Thorsen won bronze in the sprint and gold in the 1000m time trial at the Commonwealth Youth Games . At the Junior World Championships in Los Angeles he again took silver in the Keirin and in the team sprint he won the bronze medal. In 2004 he also defended his national championship title in scratch and won another one in the 1000m time trial.
