Daniel Wall

Daniel Wall (* 1966 in Karlsruhe ) is a German entrepreneur . Until December 2015, he was CEO and shareholder of Wall AG, which is based in Berlin. He has been an investor from Berlin since 2016.

Career

Daniel Wall joined the young company of his father Hans Wall in 1984, which in the same year moved the headquarters of Wall AG from Karlsruhe to Berlin. In the mid-1990s, Daniel Wall took over the construction of the company's own production plant in Velten in Brandenburg and headed the production and development departments. He drove the international expansion of the company, various start-ups as subsidiaries of Wall AG were accompanied by him (e.g. in Boston / USA). In 1999 he became director of marketing and sales. In January 2007, Wall was appointed as the successor to his father as the new CEO of Wall AG and thus managed Wall AG's business in Germany and Turkey. His father took over the chairmanship of the supervisory board, which he held until spring 2012. In 2009 his father sold the majority of the shares to the JCDecaux group. Since January 2012, Daniel Wall has been responsible for the board of directors for technology in addition to the chairmanship of Wall AG.

After leaving Wall AG and selling his shares at the same time, Daniel Wall and his wife Stefanie Wall founded TWO WALLS GmbH in Berlin. TWO WALLS invests in companies / start-ups, particularly in the areas of advertising marketing, new advertising technologies and sustainable business models.

Wall supports numerous projects in the social, cultural and urban area, especially in the areas of children and youth as well as the promotion of culture. His commitment to the Board of Trustees of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and his donation of the largest Hanukkah candlestick in Europe at the Brandenburg Gate should be emphasized .
