Daniela Solin-Stojanovic

Daniela Solin-Stojanovic (born May 1, 1946 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer who was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice from 1995 to 2011 .

Life

After studying and doing legal clerkship , Daniela Solin-Stojanovic began her legal career in 1973 in her hometown. She was initially employed as a public prosecutor , as a criminal judge at the Berlin Regional Court and at the Tiergarten District Court before she was appointed judge at the Berlin Regional Court in 1976. As a judge at the regional court, she was assigned to a commercial criminal chamber. In 1980 she was seconded full-time to the Judicial Examination Office of the State of Berlin . Until 1986 she worked in the judicial examination office. During the secondment, Solin-Stojanovic was appointed judge at the Superior Court in 1982 . In 1986 she became the presiding judge at the Berlin Regional Court. She first sat before a general criminal chamber, then a jury chamber, and worked in court administration.

In 1995 Daniela Solin-Stojanovic was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice. During her time at the Federal Court of Justice, she was a member of the 4th Criminal Senate , which deals with traffic law, among other things . In addition, from 1997 to 2006 she was an assessor in the federal service court and, from 1998, was sent as a deputy member to the joint senate of the highest federal courts. At the end of April 2011, she retired due to age.
