Pseudonyms

According to speculation by literary critic Elmar Krekeler of the newspaper Die Welt von Daniela , the romance novel The Smile of Women , published in paperback by Piper on April 1, 2012 under the name of Nicolas Barreau and ranked number 1 on the paperback bestseller list of Der Spiegel magazine Thiele have been written. Thiele also uses other pseudonyms, the name Sophie Scherrer is given as the translator. The publisher uses a photo of a man on a Seine bridge to pretend author Nicolas Barreau is. A made up résumé should also distract from true authorship. This claim is confirmed by the fact that the picture of the alleged author comes from the Corbis picture agency .

Another pseudonym of Daniela Thiele is the name Rosalie Tavernier.
