Danielle Vallet Little
Danielle Vallet Kleiner (* 1958 in Paris ) is a French video artist .
life and work
Vallet Kleiner graduated from ENSAAMA in 1979 and studied at ENSAD in Paris from 1980 . In 1984 she graduated from the ENSBA in Paris in painting . From 1985 she studied lithography at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro.
Danielle Vallet Kleiner has made numerous films, has won several awards and presented the films Istanbul - Helsinki (La traversée du vide) and Inspection Istanbul-Helsinki in 1997 at the documenta X in Kassel.
“The film Istanbul - Helsinki (La traversée du vide) does not correspond to the real chronology. It is made up of a sequence of leaps forwards and backwards in the temporal and spatial sequence of the journey. The real space of the travel route and the spiritual space of memory that this installation opens up is also made up of material that was literally rescued from disappearing, because a third of the pictures were stolen from Vallet Kleiner during the journey. "
