Danielle van Mal-Maeder

Danielle Karin van Mal-Maeder (* 1963 ) is a Dutch classical philologist .

Life

From 1982 to 1989 she studied Greek, Latin and French in Lausanne . After defending her dissertation on March 26, 1998 at the University of Groningen cum laude (dissertation supervisor: Heinz Hofmann , co-director: Philippe Mudry ), she has been teaching at the chair for Latin studies at the Université de Lausanne since 2004 .

Her main research interests are ancient literature (especially Apuleius ), philology, poetics, rhetoric, narration, discourse analysis, Roman, Greek and Latin antiquity and Latin declamations .
