Danka Ilić

Danka Ilić (born July 9, 1978 in Böblingen ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Ilić played at SV Böblingen in her hometown and from 1995 to 1997 at BSG Ludwigsburg. During this time, namely in December 1996, she made her debut in the German women's national team, having previously played in the junior national team. In 1997, the 1.75 meter tall player went to the United States , studied and completed 104 games for the team at Georgetown University by 2001 . In 1999 she took part in the European Championship with the German team and also played her 22nd and last A international match during the tournament.

In 2001 she joined the Bundesliga club TSV 1880 Wasserburg  , where she stayed for a year. She then moved a second time to BSG Ludwigsburg, with whom she also played in the Bundesliga. In the 2007/08 season she then strengthened the Bundesliga club Munich Basket .
