Dante Marraccini

Dante Marraccini (born April 22, 1934 in Monsummano Terme ) is an Italian journalist , writer , screenwriter and film director .

Life

Marraccini has worked as a journalist for numerous newspapers and periodicals, such as "Il Pensiero Nazionale", "Tribuna Politica e ore 12", "Tempo", "Io" and "ABC". As founder and editor he ran “I Notambuli”, a monthly magazine. In addition, he wrote novels and shot in 1974 as a director - he had previously had experience as a film editor - based on his own screenplay Un attimo di vita , which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and in Belgrade. After long stays in the United States and Nigeria, he returned to Italy in 1989 and made a handful of rarely performed works and a television film.
