translation to German
The scarlet blood
flowed over the cities and plains of our homeland, Kampuchea.
The blood of our good workers and peasants,
The blood of our revolutionary fighters, both men and women.
Their blood generated great anger and courage
to fight heroism.
On April 17th, under the revolutionary banner, free
us their blood from slavery.
Hurray, hurray, for the glorious April 17th!
The miraculous victory meant more than
the Angkor period!
We unite
to build a Kampuchea with a new and better society,
democratic, egalitarian and just.
Let's follow the road to solid-based independence.
We absolutely guarantee to defend our homeland,
our beautiful territory, our wonderful revolution!
Hurray, hurray, hurray! For the new Kampuchea,
A glorious, democratic land of plenty!
We guarantee to raise and wave the red flag of the revolution in the air.
We make our homeland more prosperous than anyone else
, wonderful, wonderful!
