The Darbel Islands are a group of one larger and two smaller islands as well as some reef rocks off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . They extend southwest of Cape Bellue for 8 km along the entrance to Darbel Bay .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1930 and adopted the name based on the bay of the same name. It is named after the French Vice-Admiral Laurent Marin-Darbel (1849–1928).
