Darby Lloyd Rains
Darby Lloyd Rains (* 1947 ) is an American porn actress from the 1970s. In contrast to other actresses, she was considered a real actress.
She began her career in 1970 with a few roles in American porn films. In 1971 she was cast as a stripper for the mainstream film French Connection . At the time, few porn actresses had roles in mainstream films. This attracted a lot of attention, and she continued to be very successful, including starring in Naked Came the Stranger and The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann . In 1980 she ended her career as an actress. She is listed among the film pioneers in the XRCO Hall of Fame .
