Darius Liutikas
Darius Liutikas (born November 10, 1977 in Šiauliai ) is a Lithuanian civil servant and politician , since 2018 Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania .
Life
After graduating from secondary school Šiauliai in 1996, Liutikas completed a bachelor's degree in geography from 1996 to 2000 , and a master's degree in sociology at the Vilniaus universitetas in Vilnius from 2000–2002 . He received his PhD in sociology from Socialinių tyrimų institutas . After that he worked for 15 years at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania . Since 2018 he has been Vice Minister , Deputy Minister of Agriculture Surplys in the Skvernelis cabinet .
He was a member of the Lietuvių tautinio jaunimo organizacija "Jaunoji Karta".
He speaks English and Russian.
