Darius Juozas Mockus (born March 29, 1965 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian entrepreneur. Darius Mockus is the chairman of the board of the Lithuanian group of companies UAB " MG Baltic " and its sole shareholder. He also heads the “ MV Group ” holding as CEO. With an estimated fortune of 575 million euros, he is the second richest Lithuanian (2017).

Life

Darius Mockus completed his degree in economics with fellow student Raimondas Kurlianskis (* 1965) at Vilnius University . His specialization was industrial planning. From 1991 to 1992 Mockus was director of the company "Lietuvos investicija". From 1992 Mockus headed the investment company "Investicijos fondas" and was chairman of the board. From 1996 Mockus was director of the UAB "Minvista". Since 2000 he has headed the “MG Baltic” group (ex “Minvista”) and since 2002 he has been the chairman of this Lithuanian group of companies.

Mockus is honorary president of the Lietuvos teniso sąjunga (Lithuanian Tennis Union).

family

Mockus is married. With his wife Ina he has the sons Vytis, Pijus, Rojus and the daughter Marija.
