history
Dark Empire was founded in early 2004 by guitarist Matt Moliti from Verona (New Jersey) .
In early 2005, the band began recording their debut album Distant Tides , which was released on April 25, 2006. The album was remastered by the well-known Finnish sound engineer Mikka Jussila , who had already worked with well-known bands such as Children of Bodom , Stratovarius , Nightwish and others. The second album Humanity Dethroned was released on May 5th, 2008 and received good reviews.
