Darren Petrie (born July 26, 1995 in Stirling ) is a Scottish football player .

Career

Darren Petrie began his career at Carse Thistle before the midfielder moved to Dundee United . While playing for the club's numerous junior teams, he made his professional debut at the age of 17 in January 2013 under coach Peter Houston . In the league game of the Scottish Premier League against FC Aberdeen , he was substituted on for John Souttar . This one mission remained until the end of the season. At the beginning of the new 2013/14 season, Petrie was awarded to the Scottish third division club Brechin City . For this he completed 24 missions in League One in which he scored a goal. After another loan to FC Dumbarton in 2015 , Petrie did not return to United , but signed a deal with Raith Rovers .

National team

Darren Petrie made his Scottish U-17 debut against San Marino in October 2011 . Petrie was used for the selection four more times until 2012. As of 2012, he was active twelve times in the U-19 of Scotland.
