The Seattle Duo (Original Title: Mr. & Mrs. Smith ) is a 13-part American television series that was broadcast on CBS on September 20, 1996 . After nine episodes, the series was canceled, the last four episodes that had already been produced were initially no longer shown. The German-language first broadcast of all 13 episodes ran from March 12, 1999 on ORF 1 , in Germany the broadcast from March 16, 1999 on RTL II .

The agents Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith used to work as industrial spies for different sides and so often got in each other's way. Now they are supposed to form a team as a couple under their new identity on behalf of the private security agency Factory and have to pull themselves together, although they also get closer. Your client, Mr. Big, supplies both spies with a new assignment in each episode.
