action

The plot was divided into four sections:

Atta and Mumma

The wicked witch Uraka loves bears more than anything: because she needs bears for her magic ointment, which will soon run out. On a stormy night, the goatherd Laskaro cannot find his way home: Instead, Uraka serves him a little soup ... Laskaro is supposed to kill a bear for her. The old bear leader Jakob and his dancing bear Atta Troll go to Paris . Shortly before Paris they meet Luigi, a bear guide from Italy , and his bear Mumma Troll. The four team up and from now on share their money. But they don't yet know what is in store for Atta and Mumma ...

Bear hunting

In Paris the businessman Monsieur Lerat is enthusiastic about the dancing bears. He offers the two bear guides to work for them as an attraction. Atta and Mumma are now walking through the city as poster carriers. But Lerat is playing wrong: he is an assistant to Uraka, and she has commissioned him to catch the bears and hand them over to her. Uraka sent another assistant, Wassernök, to catch the bears as well. With the help of the Raven Korax, the bears can flee to a moated castle not far from Paris ...

To the moated castle

With the help of the seagull Rosalinde and the clever raven Korax, the bears Atta and Mumma Troll can flee to an old moated castle. The count who lives there takes in the bears. The Count's family collected a lot of books at the castle. Meanwhile, the two bear handlers Jakob and Luigi are looking for their bears. The witch Uraka is now planning to lure the dancing bears into a trap ...

The great cave

The witch Uraka and her two assistants Monsieur Lerat and Wassernök chase the bears. The amiable count sends the two bears to the large cave where the wicked witch is already waiting. The unsuspecting count now meets the two ferry drivers Luigi and Jakob who are looking for the bears. The three of them get to the cave, and time is running out because the goatherd Laskaro is already aiming at the bears.
