The filming classroom

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The filming classroom is a media educational project by Bavaria Film GmbH.

School classes and youth groups can make their own films within one or more days with the support of workshop leaders. The participants in the film workshop learn how much work and concentration are necessary for the various production processes in order to successfully present the finished film.

Project implementation

The participating groups register directly with Bavaria Film. The project is basically open to all types of schools and also to groups outside of school. Participants should be at least 9 years old. There is no upper age limit.

The project is not explicitly advertised and lives from a culture of recommendation. Most of the groups come at the initiative of the teachers, some of whom have been in contact with Bavaria for many years. There are around 25% new customers per year.

Key data and facts
