Daskylos (son of Tantalus)
Daskylos ( Greek Δάσκυλος ) is in Greek mythology the son of Tantalus and Anthemoisia and the father of Lycus . Daskylos is king of the Mariandyn people in Bithynia . According to the legend, he or his son welcomes Heracles in a friendly manner when he is on his search for Hippolyte's belt . In gratitude, Heracles helps them subjugate the neighboring peoples.
