The simple single-nave building stands on the northern edge of the village. The late Gothic chapel in the walls was given a gable rider with an onion helmet in the Baroque period. The interior was also redesigned in the Baroque style, with the late Gothic ribbed vault chipped. The high altar dates from 1645.

The branch church in the south of the village of Pfongau is a late Gothic building within the walls. The roof turret was built much later in neo-Gothic style. The interior furnishings also date from this era.

The branch church stands on a ridge in the middle of the summer wood settlement. It is essentially late Gothic and was later converted into Baroque style. The west tower was built in 1740, the onion helmet was renewed after a fire in the 20th century. The high altar and pulpit date from the Baroque period.

The parish church and the cemetery are surrounded by a remarkable earthwork from the years 1638/39. The tower on the south flank of the choir is still preserved from an earlier baroque building. The church was rebuilt in historicist style after a fire and consecrated in 1888. The neo-Renaissance altars also date from this year.
