The Arnsdorf elementary school is the oldest still operating school in Austria. The teacher Franz Xaver Gruber , the composer of the Christmas carol Silent Night, lived and worked here for a while . The building now also houses the Silent Night Museum .

The parish church, surrounded by the cemetery, stands in the middle of the parish. The two-bay choir is late Gothic, but the higher nave was heavily rebuilt in 1905. The high Romanesque tower east of the choir dates back to the 13th century and is an unplastered square building. The high altar and the side altars from the beginning of the 20th century are neo-Gothic.

The Pfarrerstöckl , Pfarrstöckl or Vikarstöckl , formerly also called Kaplanstöckl , dates back to the 15th century and served the vicars coming from the Benedictine Abbey Michaelbeuern (the parish was subordinate to this) as an office. The building was repaired in 1684 and last renovated on the outside in 1995.
