The building complex has been documented since the 16th century and its core partly dates from the 17th century. However, it was rebuilt and expanded repeatedly, most recently after it was taken over by the St. Petrus Claver Sodality at the beginning of the 20th century. The main building is three-story with a corner tower in the northwest and a clock and bell tower in the southwest.

Single-aisle hall building from 1695. Basement of the tower of the Gothic front church, with a bell storey from 1797/98 according to plans by the court architect Wolfgang Hagenauer. High altar from 1706/07 (Salzburg altar maker Lorenz Windbichler, figures from Simon Fries). Seat of a deanery since 1812.

Small, single-nave room in 3/8 end, Gothic, consecrated in 1520. Altarpiece Arch Martyr Laurentius of the early 17th century. Several tombstones worth mentioning. War memorial since 1950.

Baroque ensemble, built by Archbishop Max Gandolf von Kuenburg , architect Giovanni Antonio Dario. Place of pilgrimage of the miraculous image of Maria Plain (Maria Trost). Parish and pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary from the 1670s, single-nave building with two-tower facade, complete baroque interior from the time of construction. Superiorate building of the former Benedictine monastery (today a branch of St. Peter's Abbey ) from the same period, with a hall with a coffered ceiling and an original tiled stove. Hl.-Grab-Chapel 1693. Original chapel 1710. Chapel of Sorrows 1724–1734. Several wayside shrines from a rosary station route from 1705, original pictures not preserved (comes from the city of Salzburg, see secret pillars on the way to Maria Plain ). Another 5-station calvary , late 17th century.
Landscape protection area, also two natural monuments ( linden tree near Plainkirche, group of trees next to Gasthof Plainlinde).

The bridge over the Fischach in Lengfelden was built in 1635 by Archbishop Paris Lodron . In 1963 the bridge was dismantled and replaced by a new one in 1964. What remains of the old bridge are the archbishop's coat of arms.

The rectangular building with a hipped roof and a canopy in the east is marked 1830.
