The Bärenstein rock art station is a rock fall south of the Sparber, discovered by Sieglinde Laimer in 1980 . The documentation was done in 1992 by Franz Mandl . The bear stone got its name after several bear scratch drawings and a brown bear hunting scene. There is also a church representation and a heavily weathered geometric representation, which Mandl calls St. Wolfgang is interpreted. Several name cartouches, dates in the range from 1733 to 1935 and several religious-cultic incisions ( IHS , INRI ), next to them crosses, some wheel crosses , a small tree-like and a flower-like representation, a crossbow and a pentagram .
