Remains of pile-like buildings, so-called Packwerkbauten , which were erected by Bavarian settlers after 500 AD in the shore zone directly in front of today's Fuschl Castle and are probably related to fishing on Lake Fuschl . They show that settlement activity on the lake took place again at that time. The remains of the so-called Packwerkbauten extend over the bank areas in the municipality of Hof and the adjacent lake areas in the municipality of Fuschl. |
