The Daspit Glacier is a 10 km long glacier on the Bowman Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows along the south side of Mount Shelby in an east-northeast direction to the head end of Trail Inlet .
The East Base crew on the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941) discovered him. Aerial photographs were taken in 1947 during the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey surveyed the glacier in 1948. Namesake is the future Rear Admiral Lawrence Randall Daspit (1905-1979), who helped to get support from the United States Navy for the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition.
