Dassower mill

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dassower Mühle was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The living space consisted of the mill in the village of Dassow . In 1844, about 300 meters from the southwestern outskirts of Dassow, a windmill was built for the first time . The mill was destroyed by fire in 1878 and replaced by a new windmill. The last owner was master miller Boneß (also Bonehs), who took over the mill in 1899, modernized it in 1929 after the electrification of Dassow and operated it until 1945.

Until 1945 Dassower Mühle belonged to the community Dassow and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania. Dassower Mühle was officially no longer listed as a special place to live.

After 1945, the place of residence came to Poland , like all of Western Pomerania . The mill fell into disrepair after 1945. Today the site is in the area of the Polish Gmina Karlino (town and country municipality of Körlin) ; the buildings at this point have no special place names in Polish.
