Steady light
As a continuous light in the are Photography artificial light sources indicated that illuminate a subject for an extended period (see lighting ).
Such light sources are typical
- Halogen lamps with a color temperature of 3400 K .
- Daylight lamps with a color temperature of 5,500 K.
In contrast to the flash light , the continuous light enables an easier evaluation of the lights and shadows while adjusting the light sources. With the exception of the continuous light from gas discharge lamps , the light also generates considerable heat, which among other things increases the risk of fire. In addition, large amounts of energy are required for bright illumination of the scene. In the age of energy-saving lamps and LEDs , however, this problem is becoming increasingly less.
