Dauphin vehicle collection

The Dauphin vehicle collection in Hersbruck includes around 160 classic cars and over 240 motorcycles. The private collection can be viewed as part of events and on certain days that are announced on the website.

The collection was built up by Elke and Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin together with their daughter Antje. The family is the sole owner of the international office furniture manufacturer Dauphin HumanDesign Group .

Dauphin Speed ​​Event

The collection is at the heart of a building and park called the “Dauphin Speed ​​Event”. The facility consists of an event hall with almost 600 m², which can accommodate up to 450 people, a park area with 9000 m² and the private vehicle collection, which is housed in an adjacent former factory building from the 1960s. It can be rented for company celebrations, presentations, club meetings, private events, etc.

Exhibits

The car collection includes European sports cars and motor sports cars from the prewar period and especially from the post-war period to around the mid-1970s. The oldest model is a Bugatti Type 35 B from 1929. A focus is on Italian cars, including manufacturers such as Ferrari , Maserati , Lancia and Alfa Romeo . A rarity is a Ferrari 365 GTC / 4 Daytona Spider , which was only built twenty times.

When it comes to motorcycles, the focus is on specimens from motorsport. The jewel of the collection is an MV Agusta GP 500 from 1959 owned by former world champion John Surtees .
