David B. Norman

David Bruce Percival Arthur Norman (born June 20, 1952 ) is a British vertebrate paleontologist who works with dinosaurs . He is the curator of paleontology at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge and was director there.

He has been a Fellow of Christ's College in Cambridge since 2002, teaching geology, biology and paleontology as a reader and tutor.

He dealt in particular with Ornithischia and among these specifically with Iguanodon , on which he also received his doctorate.

Norman wrote many popular science books on dinosaurs.

The Chinese hadrosaur Equijubus normani was named after him in 2003.
