David Boggs

David Reeves Boggs (* 1950 ) is an American electrical and radio engineer. He has early versions of the Internet Protocol , from file servers , protocol converters , network cards and, along with Robert Metcalfe , Ethernet , the most popular technology for local computer networks developed.

Boggs graduated from Princeton University , graduated with a masters (1973), and received a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1982 .
