David Bortolussi (born June 21, 1981 ) is an Italian rugby union player who is mostly used in the position of goalkeeper . Since that season he has been playing for the amateur club JS Riscle in the Gers department . Previously he was active for the clubs US Dax , Bègles-Bordeaux , FC Auch and Montpellier Hérault RC . He also played for the Italian national team , although he was born in France .
Bortolussi made his debut for the national team when they met Japan in 2006 . During the World Cup in 2007 and the Six Nations in 2008 , he was a regular player and responsible for the penalty and promotion kicks.
