David Diringer

David Diringer (born June 16, 1900 in Tlumacz , Austria-Hungary , † 1975 ) was a Jewish orientalist of Hungarian origin.

Act

David Diringer researched the development of language and the history of writing . He taught at Cambridge University and is the author of several important works on the subject of writing and founding director of the Alphabet Museum in Tel Aviv .
