David F. Greenberg

David F. Greenberg (born May 6, 1942 ) is an American sociologist and criminologist . He teaches as a professor of sociology at New York University .

Greenberg made all high school exams at the University of Chicago with a major in physics: Bachelor of Science 1962, Master of Science 1963, Ph.D. in 1969. He was known for his attempt to establish a "mathematical criminology" . From this research context his age theory arose, which is assigned to developmental criminology . Greenberg also worked on the "construction of homosexuality " .
