However, there are advanced and further training courses that require a degree in another subject ( law , psychology , sociology , pedagogy or social work ):

  • “Master of Arts in International Criminology” as well as part-time “Advanced Master's Course in Criminology” at the University of Hamburg .
  • Master's degree in "Criminology, Criminology and Police Science" at the Ruhr University in Bochum .
  • Interdisciplinary postgraduate course for Master of Arts in criminology and violence research at the University of Regensburg .
  • Three further education courses at the University of Bern (Switzerland): "Legum Magister in Criminology" (LL.M. Unibe), "Master of Advanced Studies in Criminology" (MAS Crim Unibe) and "Diploma of Advanced Studies in Criminology" (DAS Crim Unibe)
