David Grashoff

David Grashoff (born August 20, 1973 in Wuppertal ) is a German author, stand-up comedian and poetry slammer from Wuppertal.

Life

His writing career began in the role-play area. As editor-in-chief of a creative think tank called Projekt Kopfkino, he developed the role-playing games FUNKY COLTS and RATTEN! which were published a little later by Prometheus Games Verlag. In addition to his work for various pen & paper role-playing games , he published his fantastic stories in numerous anthologies and short story volumes.

In 2008, the short story anthology Disturbania was published by Atlantis Verlag , with David Grashoff as editor. The story Feuerteufel by Christian Endres contained therein received the 2009 German Fantasy Prize for the best German-language short story.

He has been a poetry slammer since 2009.

In August 2012 his first book Sackaffen with his slam texts and short stories was published by Lektora Verlag.

He lives with his family in Wuppertal.
