The Atlantis Verlag is a small publishing house founded in 1999 with headquarters in Stolberg . The publisher is part of the German fantasy scene and publishes horror , fantasy and science fiction literature .

Publishing program

The publisher not only offers its publications as paperbacks , as is customary in the industry , but also produces hardcover editions that can only be obtained directly from the publisher; there are also e-book versions.

Periodicals and series

In addition to the magazine Phase X , which has been publishing stories, short stories and novellas of the fantastic genres in themed editions at irregular intervals since 2006, Atlantis Verlag initially acted as the distributor of the electronic version and since mid-2012 also as the publisher of the magazine Fantastisch! which mainly brings secondary literature.

The Space Opera from the Liaden universe by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller appears at Atlantis . The SF series rescue cruiser Ikarus was initiated in 2000 by Dirk van den Boom and has so far made up 63 volumes (and a reprint of the first editions); Besides van den Boom, the authors include Sylke Brandt, Irene Salzmann, Achim Hiltrop, Nicole Rensmann , Christel Scheja and Hermann Ritter . Several episodes of the series are also available as radio plays. Saramee is a fantasy series with so far 15 volumes, while the horror classics series includes novels by Earl Warren and AF Morland .
