Frank W. Haubold (* 1955 in Frankenberg / Sa. ) Is a German writer .

Life

Frank W. Haubold was born in Frankenberg (Saxony) in 1955 . After high school and military service, he studied computer science and biophysics in Dresden and Berlin . Since 1989 he has been writing novels, short stories and short stories in various genres ( science fiction , fantasy, horror, present day). Numerous publications in Freie Presse (Chemnitz), Fantasia (Passau), Nova (magazine) , Fantastisch! (Stolberg), Exodus (magazine) , Esli (Russia) and other publications outside of the fantastic scene. Until 2009 he edited five anthologies for the EDFC Passau . In 2008 he was the first author ever to win the German Science Fiction Prize in both categories.
