Release
The magazine usually has 68 pages and has been published since January 2001 with an edition of around 2,000 copies. It was published by Achim Havemann, Hitzacker until mid-2012, and since then by Atlantis Verlag , Stolberg. The editor-in-chief Klaus Bollhöfener was awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Special Prize in 2004.
Since 2017, the German Fantastic Prize has been jointly presented by the magazine Fantastisch! and the online magazine Corona Magazine .
